Little bee Pip loves bee school but is sad that she doesn’t have a special talent. Her waggle dance isn’t waggly enough. Her buzz is too quiet and even the new bee Alfie can fly faster than Pip can!

 

When Pip’s teacher announces the class honey making competition, Pip wonders whether honey making could be her special skill. After Pip’s homemade honey mysteriously goes missing, she makes a surprising discovery about herself . . .

Astrid Keir-Stanley is a New Zealand and Australian children’s Author. Her debut picture book Honey Trouble published by Marshall Cavendish will be released in 2023.

Honey Trouble is a heart-warming story of kindness and community that shows us that there are hidden talents within all of us.

Astrid loves to write stories for children with heart and soul and a sprinkling of magic. After living in Melbourne, Australia for many years, Astrid recently returned to her homeland New Zealand where she lives with her husband, two sons and delinquent dog among the butterflies and bumble bees.

When she’s not writing or stepping on pieces of LEGO, Astrid works part time as a lawyer.
